4 EASY STEPS TO GETTING THE BEST VALUE OUT OF YOUR VOUCHER OR PLASTIC WALLET CARD.

 

STEP 1 Voucher details.

  • Plastic wallet cards please register by selecting wallet card once you are in the website and prompted to do so.
  • Voucher login – please use the login details that were sent to you in the email that you received previously. Do not use wallet card registration.
  • Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of receiving your voucher.
  • Wallet cards are valid for 5 years.
  • Vouchers are transferrable.
  • Vouchers are not exchangeable for cash or anything else.
  • You may use 1 voucher per booking.
  • Multiple voucher usage please see below.

 

STEP 2. How does this work? What does my voucher or Wallet card actually cover? Accommodation? Airline tickets? Car hire?

  • Your voucher / Wallet card allows you R1000 (Discount) off per booking on accommodation only.
  • You cannot use your voucher or wallet card for 1-night stays.
  • Please note that your voucher will cover up to *60% of the accommodation cost. You will still need to pay in the difference *(Up to means anything from 25% - 60%) NOT FREE.
  • Please use Bonus Breaks on the website for 1-night stays (No voucher required – use your voucher later).
  • Bonus breaks can also be used for Overseas accommodation or for areas where we do not have existing participating accommodation providers.
  • You can book directly online with Bonus Breaks – ALWAYS LOOK FOR THE DISCOUTED PROPERTIES FOR THE BEST DEALS. Does not apply to your voucher – you can make use of your voucher at a later date.
  • You can book and pay directly through Bonus breaks – Secure payment portal – no need for assistance.
  • Your voucher may only be used as a discount towards accommodation and not flights or car hire.
  • We offer in addition to your voucher offers: Competitive prices on local and international flights which you can book directly and pay for, via a safe and secure booking portal on the website. If you require assistance with booking a flight, please send a what’s app to 081 774 2045
  • Car hire – we offer very competitive rates. You will need to do this manually – send a What’s app to 081 774 2045 payment will be deducted from your Credit card or Debit card upon confirmation of your booking for the daily rental amount for the duration of your booking (+R150 contract fee) – payable prior to collecting the vehicle – Upon collection you will need to pay a refundable Fuel deposit of around R2000 – R2500 ( About 50% less than any other car hire company charges).

 

STEP 3. I have multiple vouchers and want to find a way that I can apply (As many vouchers as possible to my booking) so that I can always get the best deals.

 

  • Please note that as per the terms and conditions on your voucher you can only use one voucher per booking - However if you are willing to be reasonable, work with us and be flexible enough with your booking request - multiple vouchers can be applied to your booking and you will definitely receive the best deals available, if you are willing, and able to work around these contributing factors.
  • Firstly, in order to achieve this, you need to understand exactly how Resorts, hotels and lodges work.
  • Most of the year, Resorts, lodges and Hotels are very quiet with very low occupancy levels and they have to rely totally on peak periods to carry them throughout the entire year during the quieter months.
  • Your voucher is valid during all seasons however if you want to get the best deals available, you will need to understand how the whole process works and how it can be applied, to work to your advantage.
  • Understanding that Hotel / Resort/ Lodges – seasons are as follows: – 1 November – 15 December = Peak season, 15 December – 25 January = Peak High.  25 January – End April = Peak low. May – October = Off Peak. School holidays, public holidays and long weekends fall under Peak Seasons. What does this mean and how does this effect my booking?
  • Peak season – prices are almost doubled and most resorts insist on full weekend stays consisting of a Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, or late Sunday checkout or Early Monday Morning checkout – Great for people that like to sleep late and relax on Sundays instead of being pressurized to check out before 10am.
  • Peak High season – prices are almost tripled and minimum booking periods will be 7 Nights. Availability is also very scarce as most people book months in advance for these periods.
  • Peak low is in between Peak High and peak.
  • Off peak is the best value for money especially if you can take advantage of our Block booking specials as follows:
  • Two-night stays / Full weekend stays consisting of a Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, or late afternoon Sunday check out or Early Monday morning checkout. Avoid having to wake up early, rush, pack and leave early before 10 am on Sunday morning. 
  • Midweek breaks – best value for money - maximum discounts / vouchers can be    applied. Check in Monday after 15H00 – checkout before 10 am Friday.
  • RULE OF THUMB WHEN WANTING TO APPLY MULTIPLE VOUCHERS  OFF PEAK – 2 nights = 1 voucher – Full weekend = 1 – 2 vouchers – Midweek 4 nights = 2 – 3 vouchers. 7 nights = 3+ vouchers.

 

Step 4. Booking process.

 

Before we do any booking requests please take note of the following:

We will need dates, province of your choice, amount of people traveling. Kids? And their ages Please complete booking request form once you have logged in. Please see list of participating venues on the website – all subject to availability at the time of booking.

Most importantly every booking is subject to the amount of available accommodation that has been allocated by the participating resorts. We get stock allocations for the year ahead at the end of January every year, going forward. Resorts / hotels and lodges do not allocate 100% of all their rooms to our discounted offer as this would not be financially viable for them. So, all availability is subject to a first come first serve basis and provided to us in allocations which adapt and accommodate according to supply and demand. So even if you see it as being available on another booking platform like Booking.com – please keep in mind it is available at normal rates and does nor form a part of our discounted allocated stock, and therefore does not apply unless you want to pay full price for your booking.

My advice is, if you are in the position to book early and avoid disappointment, do so now. If you are not actually ready to book but just looking around, it is totally pointless because rates, venues, resorts and availability change on a daily basis. What Is the point of quoting you on a resort for January if there is a very strong possibility that the resort we quoted on would have changed, along with the rates, resort options and dates. AS a rule of thumb, resorts cost from R1300 per night to as much as R5000 per night, take into account the voucher discount and this will let you know how much you need to pay for your booking request unless you follow the multiple voucher discount offers.

 Once we have found something to match your request, you will need to confirm, book and pay on the day. For example. The accommodation is for R5000 and we apply R1500 discount. You will need to pay the balance of R3500 immediately to secure your booking. We cannot hold bookings at discounted prices without payment. If you want the best deals you will need to be flexible with your dates. We cannot provide you with availability or prices for months in advance because allocated availability, Resorts and prices change daily.
